These are words that have come to define Rebecca Linder.  Her national reputation is rooted in an abiding commitment to organizational and production excellence.  It reflects her professionalism, determination, and keen attention to detail, as well as her personal sensitivity, receptivity, and warmth. Much of this comes from a childhood immersed in different cultures as the daughter of a foreign services diplomat.  From Honduras to Belgium to Jordan and Greece, Rebecca’s mother helped her understand the distinctive experience of being a “guest” in a foreign country despite it also being “home.”

 These experiences never left Rebecca and ultimately, helped lay the foundation for Rebecca’s leadership of one of the most innovative and highly sought-after event management firms in the nation, Linder Global Events. Defined as much by creativity and tenacity as it is by loyalty and resilience, the firm is known for its unique understanding of the experience that the “guest” wants to have – and creating exactly that. It is infused by Rebecca’s quiet strength and confidence as well as her willingness to serve at the highest level in a real yet rare way. 

 Today, Linder Global Events has one of the most impressive client rosters in the events management industry and is widely recognized for its high-profile event production work.  Rebecca has also been honored for her professional leadership and philanthropy.  In 2018, she was honored by the Washington Business Journal as a “Woman Who Means Business” and she currently serves as Board Chairman for Generation Hope.  A member of Leadership of Greater Washington and Les Dames d'Escoffier, Rebecca is also a partner to many charities, including the Human Rights Campaign, Trust for the National Mall, LearnServe, the Washington Area Women's Foundation and the 11th Street Bridge Project

She also hosts the Event CEO podcast for CEO’s and event executives who are looking to maximize their event ROI through business strategy, technology, trends and innovation. 

A proud graduate of Boston University, Rebecca, her wife, Lisa, and their two children reside in Washington, DC.
